Be amused in the town of Nirona

The town of Hodka has many campsites which offers one and all the best of the hospitalities and comfort. We chose to stick to the basics and stayed over at a Village stay. The place is warm and has some of the coolest people running the place. The food is pretty basic and so is the stay but well that is what we were searching for once in a while, aren’t we?

Heading to the town of Nirona can be heavy on the pocket at times. The town of famous for some of its beautiful artwork like the Rogan art. The artwork is straight from Persia and has been practiced for more than 400 years now. It is truly a magical moment seeing the art in the making too.

Besides the family which makes the Rogan art there is one family out there too which copper bells. The family has been doing so for about 5 generations now.

Bright coloured jacket, pee breaks and adventure

Bright colours misty air, cold winds and the beautiful terrains. It is beautiful to be on the peaks and enjoy the view. Why a bright jacket? asked my friend. It is the beauty of the terrain and the mesmerising view which at times do not less us see any fatal activities if any from far off and so the bright coloured clothing. I am sure there are many more reasons than just this one. It was just to sink him in to the place and let him enjoy what matters the most.

Pee breaks have been a great part of the trip. It all turns down to how you faced the time on a motorcycle from the last break till the very moment. The explanation is always dramatic, apocalyptic and interesting in its own ways. The best part which eludes me is the vision which every single would have from the very same path they have been riding on at the very same time but still what their eyes see, what they heart takes in and what they enjoy is completely different.

Slush, slush and more of the mud slush. Many enjoy it many hate it and than their is a Fall. A big one at times or maybe just a skid. Adventure has never been a streamlined activity but a combination of many endless possibilities.

Come be a part of the adventure this July and enjoy the beautiful terrains of the Northern most point of India. Follow us on Facebook to join in, enjoy the photos and videos from the past trips or you can simply say hello. The choice is yours !

Have a good day people !

Life is beyond paying bills

Life gives us all the reason to enjoy than to just pay the bills and be negative. While we were heading to Pangong Tso lake it was great seeing the beautiful scenery around and appreciating it every moment. It was after a while I realised something. I couldn’t see many people around. Why is that so? is the world a populated place and we have n no. of problems already? why are their no concrete structure. We humans are capable to do anything in our hand to make things happen to the next imaginable level.

One school of thought says, not everyone is so lucky to come here and enjoy it the way it should be. But the other says ‘I am crazy enough to be in a place less seen or enjoyed in a very non-conventional form’. I do not what it is but it sure is mesmerising and enjoyable to the core.

Riding to the less reachable terrain on a motorcycle is something not many people are comfortable about. It isn’t easy and surely out of the box for majority of the crowd we have around us. But if you wish to make history, how do you do it by doing something so conventional and so very easy. I have never known this concept or understood. Maybe time is the best judge to help me out with the answers

Town of Miru, India

Town of Miru – a small town full of charismatic people with golden heart. We were stranded in this very town for a good three days due to complete washout of the highway roads leading to the city of Leh.
Cold, tired, hungry and frustrated a bit we felt helpless but within no time and every changing weather we could see the heart of the villagers who were more than willing to help us by feeding us with a hot cup of tea, not a packet but a box of biscuits (literally a box) and two meals for the day besides the smiling faces and words of encouragement showered always to keep us strong and determined that the road would open soon. Offering a place to sleep and food with a mighty heart was their way of conveying a message of brotherhood to the bikers and fellow travellers. Cheers and BRAVO to the people of Miru.
